Numeral Worksheet

Fresh Roman numeral practice for a class of thirty. Pick your student number and the class code your teacher gives you: everyone gets their own ten questions, half turning numbers into numerals and half turning numerals back into numbers. Get one wrong and you'll see one line explaining why, then you type the right answer before you can move on.

I 1V 5X 10L 50C 100D 500M 1000 IV 4IX 9XL 40XC 90CD 400CM 900
Worked example. 1994 = M (1000) + CM (900) + XC (90) + IV (4), so it's MCMXCIV. If someone writes MDCCCCLXXXXIIII, they'd see: "Never write the same letter four times in a row (CCCC): use a pair like IV, XL or CD instead."

Your questions

For the teacher: new class code, answer key, printing

Every student number gets a different set from the same class code, and nobody's set changes if they reload. Make a new code for a fresh round for the whole class. The key below covers all thirty students at the level chosen above.
